Srinagar, : Parraypora suburb of the city that has been in media reports more for wrong reasons today witnessed yet another major clash between two gangs of Romeos following a brawl.

Eyewitnesses, who had to take shelter in lanes and bylanes told Kashmir Canvas that  “the two sides armed with stones, rods, steel knuckles and chains etc resorted to stone pelting at each other which resulted in injuries even to passers by forcing others to take cover” The clashes lasted for an hour as police and Para militaries on duty elected to be mute spectators, alleged the eye witnesses.  The gangs also attacked several vehicles smashing their windshields causing disruption in traffic on the road.

This is now for the umpteenth time that such clash is reported from the place which hosts an estimated 25000 students in different coaching centers concentrated in the locality.

The Divisional administration has failed to relocate the tuition shops that have made life miserable for the residents who fear for their lives in view of the violent incidents taking place in the area every now and then. The residents have also urged Ulema of Jamiat e Ahli Hadees to intervene and find a solution to the problem which has been cause for unrest in the area with several moral issues cropping up
