SRINAGAR , NOVEMBER 01: Welcoming the land act notification issued by government of India in J&K , Kashmiri Pandits Organisations Alliance (KPOA) said that any indian can purchase land in the Union territory of J&K from now onwards.
This move is a step in right direction towards complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the country , a statement issued by the Coordination Committee of KPOA said today.
While welcoming the move, KPOA said that we wish to remind the government of India that Kashmiri Pandits are the original inhabitants of the valley and their return and rehabilitation should be the first priority of the centre and this process should be expedited as the minority community of Kashmir are looking for speedy resolution of their genuine concerns for last over thirty years.
This , at least , we deserve as Nationalist Community, the statement said.
Rejecting the Gupkar Declaration , the KPOA said that we extend our unconditional support to government of India for abrogation of article 370 and 35-A and we consider it as final and irrevoble.
As community we reject the Gupkar Declaration that impinges on the security of the country, if said adding that we appeal the community members to whole-heartedly support the OMKAR DECLARATION as enunciated earlier.
